Life is zipping along these past two weeks. Old Year's Night found us on a hill, that over looked the city, watching fireworks. It seemed that most households were letting off fireworks and soon the sky was filled with color and then smoke. The kids really enjoyed the show. Since then we have settled into a routine of school, grocery shopping and life.
Our only big news is that Sophia wanted to go to school! So she is signed up at a local school called the Brother's Grimm school where they have a class for foreigners who do not speak Germany. She sits at a table with 3 other girls and 3 boys. In the classes there is 2 tables, 1 for 6 & 7 year olds and 1 for 8 & 9 year olds. She came home very excited that she had met a friend, who is from China, and they speak English. We are currently looking to see if any classes of this type are available for Micah? Otherwise we will keep schooling at home, which has been going very well.
Other than that, we still do not have phone or Internet. Very frustrating! It was suppose to happen yesterday. Dan's there today rescheduling.
Here is also a link to a zip line at a park 3 minutes from our house. The kids have been going there every day to play in the park and forest. We have been learning that where ever the rain stops - we need to head outside - because it will start again soon.

The kids LOVED seeing the zip line. Grace thought it was nice to have something to remind them of their own back yard!
