German mail is efficient. They deliver 6 days a week to the house. And the kids LOVE to check the mail box, always hoping for mail. The thing we love the most about the Deutsche Post here in Göttingen is that the mail is delivered by bicycle. When we first saw it we all stared in amazement. So we had to share it, it's just taken a while to have camera in hand at the right moment.
Like the Canadian Postal Serivce, the Deutsche Post delivers mail to individual houses, but you have to post your letters at a community box. We have 2 different drop boxes that are only a couple of blocks from our house. Thankfully, we can buy stamps at the grocery store and do not have to go to the retail post office.

Hi you wandering machilias. I don't know if I'll ever send you mail, boo hoo. Loved the bicycle picture. We are loving our time in Arizona . I'm in a tennis tournament next week. Tom has an exercise coach which has been good. The grimes have 18 chicks. Sarah said some have been pecked by others, what's new??
We've met many canada people here, they love the sun. We're watching final bb games.
I'm going to Calvin's festival of fairy and writing. Check that site for good book suggestions, I found some books for the girls. Love to you all will miss you at EStwr. Marilyn
