This is what we are telling Gabe, "just 2 more sleeps until the Van Veen's come". He is not the only one who is excited for them to come! For those of you who don't know the Van Veen's, they are the neighbour's across the road & very close friends! Sophia has had her list of "things to do" before Sydney arrives and has been checking items off for about a week. Micah is looking forward to discussing video games with someone who cares (namely Levi). So, Saturday is the big day. Everything else this weeks pales in comparison.
It's been a pretty normal week for us here. School, work, & walking. The three main items in our life. We are still enjoying Spring here. The tulips are in full bloom. Some trees have lost their flowers but others are full and sweet smelling. We are also having typical weather, warm some days and cool on other days.
This past Saturday we went to the zoo in Hannover with friends from church. Their little girl was turning 4 and she wanted us to come with them. We had a nice day riding the train and seeing the animals. The zoo was the perfect size for kids with enough to do but not so large.
