Today was a working Saturday. Dan headed off to the office early and I warned the kids at breakfast that they had to pitch in today get the house ready for Grandpa & Grandma Machiela. So shortly after breakfast we started.

| I have started sorting our belongings. (Yes, I do love organizing.) Unfortunately, the pile on the left is the one going home - hopefully with Dan's family. |

| We see Germans airing their bedding outside their homes. My modified version of this is hanging our comforters over the railing when I am washing the covers. |

| Sophia opted to sharpen pencil crayons and then did my ironing. |
Gabe has started to draw. It's so much fun to see him growing up.

| Recycled products get used a lot in our house. Gabe asked me if we could drink more beer so that he could get a helmet tomorrow. |
Yeah! We are now ready for our visitors to arrive on Tuesday! The kids are super excited to see their Grandpa and Grandma and Aunt Kris and Uncle Randy. As a reward for working hard the kids got to play video games while Dan & I went for a nice walk.

LOVE this little glimpse into your German life! The entire family had a good laugh over Gabe asking you to drink more beer :). I hope you obliged him! Have fun with Dan's family!
I think you should honour Gabe's request :) Love seeing your photos and knowing about your life in Germany.
